CHURCH FAMILY

The Church Family was first created to illuminate California Modernist Rudolph Schindler's Bethlehem Baptist Church in Los Angeles. Schindler called his work “Space Architecture,” meaning he designed not just for structure but also the climate, light and mood of an interior space. Inspired by this thinking our Church fixtures are designed to cast light not down but up and out, with globe bulbs exposed and celebrated.

DOUBLE CHURCH CHANDELIER

The Double Church Chandelier features ten floating bulbs held aloft through a simple armature of cords and rods.

A tensegrity structure, the fixture’s cloth-covered electrical cords resist in tension the compression force of the steel rods for an uplifting finished look.

With an overall length of just under ten feet, the Double Church Chandelier is right at home in entryways and meeting rooms.

Ideal for rectilinear spaces and dining tables, four shorter arms radiate out and down from an octagonal hub to complete the lightweight design.
